Korea convenience food nutrition sum
The Korea Convenience Food Guide nutrition sum adds label values for the amounts you ate and marks any total with a missing value as incomplete.
Each item is converted with value at the basis × amount eaten ÷ basis amount. Only values you type from your own package are used.

A total is arithmetic on printed values, not a health or diet score.
For reference only. Results are calculated in your browser and nothing is sent or stored.
How does the convenience food nutrition sum calculate?
Value at the basis × amount eaten ÷ basis amount, for each nutrient and item, then added up.
| Input | Result |
|---|---|
| A: 200 kcal per 100 g, 150 g eaten | 300 kcal, shown with the formula × 150 ÷ 100 |
| A: 10 g protein; B: protein not provided | Confirmed subtotal 10 g; total incomplete; B is not counted as 0 |
| Basis 0, or g basis with ml eaten | Calculation held; no NaN or infinity |
What happens to a blank value in the nutrition sum?
It is reported as not provided, and the total for that nutrient is marked incomplete.
Why does the nutrition sum refuse to mix ml and g?
Converting between them needs the food’s density, which labels do not give.
| Condition | Shown as |
|---|---|
| Basis amount missing or 0 | Held: enter a basis amount above 0 |
| Amount eaten missing | Held: enter the amount eaten |
| Basis in g, amount in ml (or the reverse) | Held: units differ |
What are the limits of this tool?
- It only adds the values you enter; it does not know any product.
- Rounding is to two decimal places at display time.
- It gives no dietary advice, targets or scores.
Korea Convenience Food Guide does not decide whether a product is safe for you, vegetarian, vegan or halal. Recipes and packaging change, so the label on the package you bought always takes precedence over anything shown here.
